Are you ready? Because Misery opens tomorrow afternoon at the Embassy Theatre!
For this last fun fact, let's show some love for Buster! Although he appears in the movie version, Buster (The Sheriff) is not in the novel. Instead, it's a collection of different officers visiting Annie Wilkes instead of just one. In the movie version, they wanted to give the audience the most drive possible of Paul Sheldon being found by introducing Buster with "deductive skills". Buster was played by Richard Farnsworth.
Misery opens this Saturday, October 12th, at 2 pm and 8 pm and Sunday, October 13th, at 2 pm. It will be followed by traditional Thursday to Sunday performances, with an additional Saturday matinee from October 17-20!
Admission is $18 for adults and $16 for seniors/students. Tickets may be purchased through Ticketbud at embassy.ticketbud.com, or you can call the box office at (240) 362-7183 to make reservations and guarantee seating.
